Weigh In Wednesday w/ Erin & Alex

button

Hey chicas so today I am doing Weigh In Wednesday with Erin & Alex (who are both fab by the way they both really inspire me).  Well I weighed this morning and I believe I have officially hit a plateau.  I am stuck at 178. SMH  I know that at lot of it is my fault and I haven't probably worked as hard as I could have to reach my next goal of 10 lbs.  So I am posting this as sort of a confession.  I have awesome intentions but we all know what that the road to H-E-L-L is paved with good intentions. LOL So needless to say I have been in a bit of a slump and it has been easy to not push myself.  I love reading everyones blog and when I am reading them I get so motivated and I have like all this desire to kick ass in my workout, but when I get home (I am reading most of these at work) I have like no energy. So my question to all of you is how do you push yourselves to keep on keeping on so to speak.  I realy would like some tips and suggestions.  I will say I don't have a lot of time between working and three kids it can be difficult to find time for me.  So any suggestions on effective quicker workouts as well as maybe what days you do what would be awesome.  Thanks to all of you for reading and listening to me rant.

Peace Out!!

  1. I wish I had answers for you, but I'm basically in the same spot as you right now. It's tough to find the time, when your heart isn't 100% in the game. I think the key is to just make time. Make it part of your day and pretty soon it will become routine. I saw something this week that really hit me, something along the lines of us all having the same 24 hours in each day, it's just how we choose to spend them. So yes, it's hard and there's SO much to do and we're tired... but there's always someone else out there who's more busy, more tired than us yet they're still finding time to make being healthy a priority. I'm no expert, I'm totally slacking myself right now... but I think that train of thought is helpful. Hope this week goes better for you (and me!).

    1. Thank you so much for comment. You are officially my first one YAY! I agree I am definitely going to need to get more focused and prioritize. I am hoping we both have a better week as well. :)

  2. The biggest thing is to prioritize. Schedule time for you like you would one of the kids. So far I have found the quickest and most effective workout is Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred. It takes about a half hour total and you lose inches! I've done it twice and lost at least a pant size each time!

I hope you have a better week and get some good advice!

  3. I was stuck in a rut for a while. I did not want to do anything and then I decided that I needed to do something to feel better. I found the 30 Day Shred on Youtube and went for it. After a few days it became an addiction to do it everyday. I have seen movement on the scale after staying the same for a while.
Try something new, maybe the nicer weather will help motivate as well.
